Warm air at the vents, ice on the lines, or a breaker that keeps tripping isn't a wait-it-out problem when Lexington, OH temperatures climb. We check charge, compressor amp draw, and coil condition before recommending a fix before any part gets quoted.
Topping off refrigerant without ever finding the leak is one of the most common ways Lexington homeowners get overcharged. Our process is pressure readings, spec comparison, and electronic leak detection, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.
Non-negotiables on every cooling call.
Refrigerant work is always performed by certified technicians — a legal requirement we take seriously.
No-cool situations jump the schedule, most Lexington requests seen same-day in peak season, even during the busiest stretch of summer.
Whatever the repair, the quote holds before work starts.
Real detection equipment finds the source, not just a temporary patch.
Six issues that cover the majority of what we see.
The leak gets found and repaired at the source, then the system is recharged and pressure-verified — not just refilled and sent on its way.
Hard-starting or high-amp compressors get tested before we recommend replacement.
We find why the coil froze, not just defrost it and hope.
Dual-run capacitor failure is a leading reason an outdoor unit won't start, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
A coil caked in debris can't reject heat properly, which spikes head pressure and stresses the compressor, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
A blown fuse or tripped disconnect can present exactly like a dead compressor, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.
Four steps to cold air again.
Describe the symptom — warm air, ice, tripping breaker — and we route the nearest tech and we'll get a tech moving.

What people ask before we dispatch.
Usually a refrigerant leak, compressor failure, or a dirty condenser coil — we check all three and we test each before quoting.
Sure, but it won't stick — refrigerant is a closed system, so if the level dropped, it went somewhere specific, and we'll say so before you pay for one.
Cooling emergencies jump the queue, usually resolved within a few hours of your call.
It won't hurt anyone, but continued operation risks the compressor, so it's worth addressing quickly.
We primarily handle central AC, and can advise on window units.
You're paying for a proper pressure and electrical workup, not a guess — and that fee comes off the total if you move forward with the repair once you approve the fix.
We dispatch cooling techs throughout Lexington and the surrounding Lexington, OH zips below — call to confirm same-day.
